Arlington Cross Country 2017

7th June 2017
On Wednesday 7th June, some of the KS2 children represented the school in the Arlington Cross Country 2017. The Arlington route, renowned for its undulating paths and steep hills, proved a mighty challenge for some of the children but they all passed with flying colours. Having not won the competition since 2011, the  team rose to the challenge, securing three 1st s, two 2nd s & four 3rd s. This means Bratton Fleming won the competition with 17 points. A special mention goes to: Cameron Greening, Jack Barrow & Aidan Barrow for finishing 1st; James Fyers & Lilly Pierce for finishing 2nd; and William Potter, Joe Symons, Emma Grace Shapland and Jake Greening for finishing 3rd in their respective races. Well done to all the competitors for finishing the race; an amazing achievement, you should be very proud of!
